›Introduction

The Fire Warlock is one of the fastest and easiest builds for the Warlock in Diablo 2 Resurrected: Reign of the Warlock. Although a little bit mana intensive, most of the skills are simple to use and pack a large punch.

›Fire Warlock Skill Build
  • 20 Points to Ring of Fire – One of the 3 main Skills for this build.

  • 20 Points to Flame Wave – One of the 3 main Skills for this build.

  • 20 Points to Apocalypse – One of the 3 main Skills for this build.

  • 20 Points to Consume – Used to Consume Tainted for added Fire Damage.

  • 1 or 20 Points to Summon Tainted – Useful for consume to increase Fire Damage or add 20 points for powerful Summons.

  • 5 or 10 Points to Demonic Mastery – Increase number of Summons to 2 at level 5 or 3 at level 10.

  • 15 points to Bind Demon – Grab a powerful summon. 15 hard points allows you to bind regular unique monsters that can have lots of power.

  • 1 Point to Death:Sigil – Potentially useful for extra explosions

  • 1 Point to Lethargy:Sigil – Slow mobs to keep them within range of Fire skills since they take a little bit of time to setup.

›Fire Warlock Stats Discussion

The following section discusses how many attribute points should be allocated to each of the primary stats.

How much Strength Does a Fire Warlock Need?

Enough for gear — However, remember that Levitation Mastery will reduce the requirements of your gear by a substantial amount.

How much Dexterity Does a Fire Warlock Need?

Enough for Gear — Dexterity is great for increasing Block Chance, particularly with Stormshield, but if you are not planning on investing points to max that out, it is often not worth taking any additional Dexterity, as the return on Defense is very low.

How much Vitality Does a Fire Warlock Need?

Everything else into Vitality — 250+ points. Every excess attribute point should be allocated to Vitality, as long as you can meet the Strength and Dexterity requirements of your items by the time you wish to equip them. Not only does this increase your Life total, but this also increases the chance for Healing Potions to crit, doubling their healing output. Further, additional Life reduces the chance that you will be put into hit recovery.

How much Energy Does a Fire Warlock Need?

Nothing — Allocating attribute points to Energy in a final build is universally considered sub-par for almost every character due to the widespread availability of Mana Potions. While leveling, if you find yourself struggling with Mana you can allocate a few points to Energy that you can then remove with a respec later on.

›Fire Warlock Mercenary

You can either hire a Defensive (Holy Freeze) or Offensive (Might) Desert Guard Mercenary in Act 2, Nightmare difficulty, depending on whether you want to slow monsters for added safety or improve the overall damage of your Mercenary.
